First Savings Insurance Inc. was established in 1998 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Savings Bank of Perkasie.  The agency, formerly McKeever- Egan Insurance, was founded in 1924 as an independent, multiple-line community insurance agency by J. Paul Bergey and Edward McKeever.  The company was incorporated in 1974 and acquired the Oliver M. Landis Agency of Quakertown in 1984.  In January 2008 First Savings purchased the Robert C. Lewis Agency in New Britain.  The formation of First Savings Insurance Inc. represents a merger of similar philosophies since both First Savings Insurance and First Savings Bank show a strong commitment to community service and a high standard of customer service.

In 2001 First Savings Insurance joined forces with and became a member of the Keystone Insurers Group.  Keystone offers our customers local service with the resources of a national organization to provide the right policies for our clients’ individual needs.  The Keystone Insurance Group is the fourth largest Property/Casualty Independent Agency in the country according to The National Insurance Journal.

Our principal office is located at 522 W. Market St., Perkasie.  We also have offices at 1318 W. Broad St., Quakertown, and 908 Town Center, New Britain.
